A very sweet kitten that got adopted by a family who fell in love with her at one of the adoption events.
|

|
A feral kitten that had undergone socialization. His
temperament was to stay true to his “colony cat” attitude & just take people for what they were worth. A family who was looking for a cat to keep their lonely cat company, & not so
much themselves, gave Dante just the home he was looking for. All is going well
with Dante in his new home, and while he loves his new cat friend, he is accepting his new people more & more each day.

Adopted by a couple who
decided to become foster parents too.

One of the most playful kitties we have had in
our foster program was put on hold before he was even able to be adopted by the family who wanted him.

Adopted by a very nice
lady who had recently lost her dog to cancer. She didn’t want to get a
new dog, so she decided to get a new cat, and she fell in love with Dealia.

A very beautiful & sweet mama cat who stood
out to a woman who had 2 others at home that looked like they could have been related to her.
She had been looking for a new cat to add to the mix & was happy to see Delilah up for adoption.
Update: Delilah, renamed Lucy, is finding her place in her new family & kitty hierarchy according to her adoptive mom. Her mom says “I am grateful that there are organizations like the FFO with volunteers committed to protecting these small creatures and giving them the opportunity to find families & have rich, fulfilling lives.”

particular cat who was abandoned before.

Adopted by a family who said they needed to adopt a kitten for the wife before the dad could

spent quite a bit of time looking for just the right kitten.

Adopted by a very nice family who was looking for
2 kittens that were already used to living with each other. These 2 kitties will
grow up to be bilingual (since the family speaks a lot of Spanish).

A feral cat that was TNR’ed in Davis, but became social while he was being cared for outside. Donnie was adopted
by the manager of the Goat Barn at UC Davis & was relocated there twice. The
first time, Donnie ran away back to his original home, but the 2nd time was a success. Donnie loves his new home at the barn (especially drinking the fresh goat milk daily) & the workers
there love to have him.

Dora and Cloe were kittens from the same litter adopted
together by a family with 3 kids & no other pets. They had come to adoptions
looking to adopt 1 kitten, but the family was torn between the 2, so they decided to adopt them both (that made the kids very
happy). Both kittens were big lovers & each had their own personalities. We are sure that the family will be very happy with their 2 new additions.

decided she wanted to be adopted by Russ when she
was the 1st one to come over & say hi to him when he came to visit her litter looking for a kitty to adopt. He was very
excited to find such a loving kitten.

A young woman fell in love with Drew at the Davis
Farmer’s Market one Wednesday, which wasn’t surprising since Drew had the kind of personality that won everyone
over. She could barely wait the week she had before she could pick him up.

A basic gray short hair male adopted because he
was so personable and gentle.

“Dyna”
was an adult cat that was abandoned in a feral colony. She was trapped &
spayed & given a chance in our foster program. She became so bonded with
her foster mom that we knew she would make a very loyal companion to someone. A
very nice couple saw Dyna at one of our PetsMart adoptions days & decided she would make a great buddy for the cat they
already had at home. They adopted her & took her home, & they recently
called us to say just how perfect Dyna has fit into their new family & how much she has bonded with them & their other
cat Louie.

Earl was adopted in December 2005 only to be returned a month later when one of the family
dogs & him didn’t get along. The day he was returned was the day his
new family spotted him & fell in love with him. He was adopted by the couple
the following week & taken home to meet his new friend, a lonely 3 year old cat whose parents had been searching for just
the right companion for. Earl was a great match.

Adopted
by her foster mom who bottle-raised her. The foster mom’s adult cat hadn’t
met a kitten that he really liked until Ember came along, and the bond those 2 formed was too strong to be broken up.

Everyone who saw Emma commented on how pretty she
was, but lucky for her, her new family loved her for more than just her looks.

Adopted by a woman who had just moved and was looking
to get a cat as a companion for her. Fionna goes everywhere with the woman, including to work and on a road trip (which she
did great on). Her new mom had the following to say... "Thank you for choosing me as Fiona's new mom! I just love her!"

Adopted by a family with two little girls that will give him all the love in the world. Fox is fitting right in with his new
family and couldn't be happier. Rita, Sean, Kora and Hava had this to say about their new friend: "...He is doing wonderfully.
He slept the way home, and began lounging and purring fairly quickly after exploring his new house. He gets constant love
and attention from the girls, which he seems to soak up readily. He finds the new food tobe delicious, the litter box stylish
and convenient, and the sleeping accommodations to be quite comfortable (so far, he's playing musical beds at night...maybe
he's trying to figure out who kicks the least, etc...)He's trying to get used to a second name, "Fergus", which
the girls wanted to name him,..he's officially "Fergus Fox Feder.""
Fox's family recently emailed us to tell us the following, "We couldn't more delighted with our kitty!! Thank you
so very much for rescuing him and allowing us to take him home. He's an extremely happy, satisfied cat."

The cat who had been in foster care the longest
finally got adopted into the perfect home for her by just the right lady. We
are sure that the pair will be perfect for each other, and we know the wait was worth it for Foxy.

Picked out her new owner who was very undecisive
when he came over to look at kittens until he saw her. Frantic Frannie, now known
as Jello, is best of friends with the other family cat Chopstick, and the family says they are lucky to have 2 great cats.

A very brave little kitten, who loves following
around the big cats of the house. Adopted by a couple who was looking for a young kitten to be a playmate for the cat they
already had.
Update: Fred, renamed Mobley, has been doing great in his new home ever since his adoption back in Feb. 2005. His family had the following to say in a holiday letter they sent us…”Mobley cuddles constantly & follows us around everywhere. We love him!”
