Aden
Aden was rescued from the shelter when he was a feral kitten about 4 months old already. Normally we don't take them that
old, but he was quiet & very handsome, so we bent our rules. He socialized well to a certain point, but we could tell
that he would never be completely comfortable being your normal indoor family cat. Lucky for us, we came into contact with
a lady who understood rehabilitated feral cats & she was willing to give Aden a shot. She was looking for a younger
cat that was quiet & who would play with another cat she had just rescued. Aden was her cat, and she recently called
us to say that Aden is very happy in his new quiet home. He gets along great with the other cat, & he has finally bonded
with his new owner.

Agouti (AKA Joey)
The foster's roommate fell in love with her and had to adopt her.

Ally and Maple
Very sweet sisters who were brought into a foster home together after they were removed from an outdoor kitty colony. They
were used to people b/c they were fed everyday by the people who owned the land they were living on. Ally became very sweet
& social once in foster care, but Maple remained a little reserved. A very nice couple adopted them together. They live
in a very safe place with a bit of land, horses, and a barn, and their new kitties will have a very comfortable indoor/outdoor
lifestyle. Ally & Maple will enjoy the chance to play outside during the day, since that is the life they are most comfortable
with.
Adopted by a family with no other pets. The
family is enjoying him & they said that he fit right in within a matter of hours of getting to his new home.
Andee
Rescued from a local shelter when she was sick, Andee made a great recovery & became quiet the cuddle bug. She is very
mellow & was always content with just being held. She got adopted at her 1st PetsMart adoption by a family with 3 kids
& no other pets. She was very comfortable being passed from arm to arm, and the parents knew they had found the kitten
they had been looking for.
Adopted into a family that had picked out her new name before they even took her home.
Adopted by a family with a couple of older cats. Apollo was going to be the daughter’s cat, and we have heard that all is going well in his new home. All the cats & people in the family are getting along great. Apollo, renamed Jacie now, is doing great in his new home.
His new family emailed us the following in Dec. 2005…” [Jacie] has adapted very well into our family.
Our other 2 cats have bonded with him better than we ever expected.”

Apollo and Asia
Apollo has adjusted wonderfully to his new home. He loves his new owner and he even enjoys doing yoga with her every morning!
Apollo's adopter stopped by our Farmer's Market booth & let us know how happy she is with Apollo. He is very sweet &
loving, and he is very attached to his family. The same girl who adopted Apollo adopted Asia a few months earlier; Apollo
needed somebody to play with.

A very pretty & nice cat that hadn’t been adopted for no good reason. Finally, her foster mom decided to keep her & care for her forever instead of just temporarily.
Argo
Adopted by a family who saw his picture online & was first in line to see him the following Saturday at adoptions. They
were very excited to bring him home & make him part of their family.
Adopted by a couple who wasn’t used to having kittens as social & loving as this
one.
Arthur
Almost a year old, Arthur is a large & handsome kitty that has come a long way with his socialization progress. Rescued
as a feral kitten, Arthur was shy and afraid of a lot of new things, but his foster mom eased his nerves and showed him just
how great it could be to be an indoor kitty. Arthur found a great home with a woman who was looking for something with a huge
personality rather then a tiny body. Arthur & his new mom took to each other right away, and we are glad to see such a
successful match.

Ash
Ash is a very sweet kitten, who thinks he was born to sit on your shoulder. He was adopted at his first visit to PetsMart
because he was just so adorable. He has an older cat at his new home to play with, and his new mommy was very excited to
get him (she loved the fact that he snuggled right into his carrier & got ready for the car ride to his new home without
a peep).

Artemis
A woman traveled over an hour to see her because she was looking for a polydactile kitten, and she ended up taking her home.
Atticus Finch and Scout
Adopted together by the same lady who adopted their mom as her barn cat. They will be loved by their new owner who decided
to keep it within the family.
Autumn
Autumn was born in foster care & adopted at her first PetsMart adoption. She was very sweet, but a little nervous being
at the adoptions for the first time. Once her new mom was holding her, she settled right down and the woman felt a connection
with Autumn immediately.

Audi and Bailey
Two sisters who were found and adopted by wonderful foster parents.
Baby
A beautiful 15 week old semi-feral Siamese kitten whose previous home was a parking lot was trapped on 12/26/03 successfully
socialized and adopted out a week later. Foster parent: Melissa Jones
Bastian
A very sweet one year old cat that had been in foster care for almost a year. He is very easy going & loyal to his family.
There's no doubt that Bastian's new family will love him unconditionally.
Beans
A very handsome cat with a very unique coat. People always commented on how beautiful he was, but no one was ever serious
about adopting him. That all changed when a family who saw him at PetsMart loved not only what he looked like, but also the
fact that he got along with both dogs and cats (which they had 1 of each at home already). They were looking for a kitten
about Beans' age (a little shy of 1 year old), and it was pure fate that the other kitten they had come to look at got adopted
right before they showed up.
Bear
A fluffy 9 week old grey kitten was trapped 1/19/04 and successfully socialized and adopted out a week later. Foster Parent:
Suzi Bailey
Bearto
Bearto was abandoned at a vet office along with his mother and 8 siblings when he was very young. With a little love and fostering,
he grew up into a very sweet and affectionate kitten, and was lucky enough to be adopted by a mother & daughter who will
give him the love he deserves.
A mama cat that had kittens while in foster care. She
found a nice home with a family who was looking to adopt an adult cat to love & spend time with. Her dominant personality did well with the match since she will be the only pet of the house. The family has let us know that they love her & think Bess is happy with the move.
The very sweet little girl with 3 rough brothers
who got adopted by a nice couple with 1 other cat & 2 small dogs. Betsy's family has let us know that she is doing well,
and although she
can be independant at times, she loves playing with the family's 3 Doxens. Betsy,
having grown up around other cats & dogs, was a good match for the interested couple.

Bikini

Fostered by Suzi
Adopted by a newly-wed
couple who were looking for a family cat to love & spoil.
Adopted right before Christmas by a family who had adopted a cat from us a few months prior. Their 1st cat was looking for a playmate, and we have been informed that
Bobbi has settled right in & has made a new best friend.
Boo Radley and Tigre
Both came into foster care at the same time, and got adopted at the same time. Although they were fostered in 2 different
homes, they should make great friends and playmates in their new home.
Bubba
Bubba was rescued from the Yolo County Shelter (along with his brother Hershey) when he was a feral kitten about 6-7 weeks
old. Within a week or so, Bubba had complete run of the house & was sleeping with his foster mom at night (when he wasn't
attacking her toes). He was a very energetic kitten & he only had to go to a few PetsMart adoptions before he was adopted
by a great family who was looking for a spunky kitten that wasn't afraid of dogs.
Buddah
Adopted by a family who was looking to adopt a young black male kitten to be a playmate for their older female black cat.
Buffy
A very sweet and playful kitten who had made a complete turn-around in foster care, and found a great home.
Buggy
A very sweet and quiet kitten, with a very petite build. She loves to sit on your lap and just be with you, and she happened
to be adopted by a man who was looking for a TV-watching companion. (The perfect match!)
Bullet
The last of a group of kittens that had been rescued from the shelter last kitten season, Bullet had grown into quite the
handsome man. He has excellent indoor manners, and is very social. He had gone to his fair share of adoption events and
was nervous at every one he attended, but a nice family found him & was eager to get to know him and make him part of
their family.
Caesar
An older cat belonging to friends of the FFO. We were doing them a favor by placing him as adoptable on our website, but they
ended up finding him a great home on their own (he has stayed in the family & we hear that he is loving his new home).
Adopted by a young woman who was looking for just the right lap cat to start her new family
of pets off with. Camille was molded into her arms the entire time she spent
visiting with us at our adoption event.
Ceacill
A very sweet and active kitten. One of the last kittens from her litter to find a new home, but the wait was worth it. Because
of Ceacill's playful nature with her other foster brothers & sisters, we wanted her to go to a home with another cat.
She went to a home just like we had imagined for her (a current cat lonely for a playmate, a mom to love her even though Ceacill
sometimes just wants to do her own thing, and alumni of UCD-an added bonus).
Update: Delilah, renamed Lucy, is finding her place in her new family & kitty hierarchy according to her adoptive mom. Her mom says “I am grateful that there are organizations like the FFO with volunteers committed to protecting these small creatures and giving them the opportunity to find families & have rich, fulfilling lives.”
Adopted by a family who had lost their cat to a heart problem. They saw Cheerio right before they were getting ready to move, so they waited 3 weeks before coming to
pick him up. The entire family has adjusted well to the new house & Cheerio
is the center of the family.
Chino
Adopted after his socialization by Sheena & Shuka was complete.
Chippy
Chippy was at a foster house other than her own for a day while a birthday party was going on. Some family friends at the
party had their young son there. He was afraid of cats because of some bad scratches he had gotten when he was younger, but
the family wanted to adopt a sweet kitten to get him over his fear. By the end of the night, he had fallen into love with
Chippy and was calling her "HIS KITTEN!", carrying her all over the place (which she didn't mind at all). The family
was glad to see that they had found such a sweet kitten, so they adopted her to be their only pet (besides a family fish).
Chippy's new name is Jasmine (from the Disney movie Aladdin), and she is doing great in her new home. Tyler (the boy
of the family who picked her out and renamed her) loves her, and gets very excited about his new kitty when he talks about
her. The family is enjoying their new pet, and Jasmine is getting lots of love!

Cleo
Adopted by a nice family who was looking for a sweet & playful kitten that would be gentle with their young son.
Comet
Adopted by the family who cared for his mom & litter from the time he was only a few days old.
Adopted by her foster mom who was one of the only
people who ever got to see Craisen’s sweet side.
