We are continuing to work with 1-800-Petmeds, to find out how you can help our organization by ordering everyday flea products and medications click here.

We are disheartened to report that 2008 has been a slow year for us to struggle through along with the many other local & nation-wide rescue/adoption organizations finding themselves in the same poor position. Unfortunately there are many feral cats and kittens out there who need our help, but we lack the resources to do so. We are in need of YOUR assistance to help keep us going through 2009. Most importantly we need monetary donations to support the financial obligations our organization has, as well as more volunteers to contribute the man-power necessary to do the work that needs to be done. Our never-ending need for more foster homes continues, as do our efforts to place our cats and kittens in permanent and loving homes. As always, we continue to get emails all of the time asking us to take more kitties/cats into our program; and without adding to our limited fostering resources and volunteer base, we are forced to turn them down. New fosters with previous experience are appreciated, but experience is something you can gain while you learn. We have a great foster program and we can teach you what you need to know while giving you the opportunity to help us a make a difference. If you are interested in signing up to foster or getting more information about our foster program in general, please email us ASAP.

Our current adoptable cats can be seen on our Petfinder.com site or at our weekly adoption events. The only cats we currently have in our foster program are the ones posted online.

Due to the lack of volunteers and financial resources, our TNR program has been forced to down-size dramatically. We hope that this is only temporary, but we are facing having to close that aspect of our organization after the first of the new year if we can not turn the corner we are at. We continue to try and maintain our TNR efforts in the parts of Yolo County that we are able to travel to; and we still continue to look for homes to relocate feral or semi-social cats to.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer and helping in any area(fostering cats, TNR of feral cats/kittens, fund raising, publicawareness, adoption events, etc...) please contact us at info@feralfeline.org. Please see our "Donations" page if you are interested in more information about donating to our organization.
